Job Summary The Commercial Director is a leadership role driving commercial excellence and client contribution margin across Ogilvy China, responsible for: - Partnering with business team of key Ogilvy clients and managing the relationship with client procurement etc. - Collaborating with Ogilvy China functions and business teams to continually optimize the key client account operationally in Ogilvy. This includes: - Establish and implementation of ways of working for commercial governance and management. - Operationalize the client’s commercial model, including establishing and negotiating pricing. - Partnering with China business teams, APAC commercial team, and WPP commercial team to create a fully integrated and connected ecosystem that enable forecasting and reporting. - Working together with commercial finance and business teams, develop Ogilvy China hourly rate card and deliverable rate card, provide guidance/benchmark/reference around project estimate vs charter pricing variances and to ensure accurate project estimation. - Collaborating with commercial finance, resource managers and business teams, centralize scope tracking and client spending, ensure PO compliance and validation of net sales forecast, continuously monitor utilization, profitability, fees, and scope for work boundaries. - Manage and maintain Ogilvy China Corporate commercial memory including rate card, policies and pricing references etc. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Client Engagement - Working with client procurement teams for selected clients - Managing relationship governance across Ogilvy China - Negotiating models and remuneration across specific service offerings - To jointly develop and deliver best practice and training across Ogilvy and client teams. - Prepare relevant analysis to be shared with the client.
